June 4, 2020

Vero Health Care, LLC is working closely with trusted authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and other state and local bodies, to mitigate and contain the spread of COVID-19 at our facilities. We are following the latest guidelines for screening and prevention to ensure residents are receiving the care they need, and health care workers and staff are appropriately protected.

As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce risk to both staff and residents regarding COVID-19, we are taking a number of proactive measures.

We are actively:

  • Reinforcing hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette
  • Maintaining social distancing protocols
  • Conducting facility-wide testing for all residents in accordance with CDC guidance or state adherence requirements

  • Reporting COVID 19 resident and staff to local, state and federal authorities

We have also:

  • Appointed an Infection Control leader at each facility who is responsible for overall monitoring of infection control
